Using the Electronic Speed Control (ESS) is a smart way to regulate spindle RPMs on the Sherline mill, since the stock KBIC board lacks this capability. drift hunters

I'm trying to control a Sherline DC motor (KBIC-120 controller) as well and I'm thinking the C41S can work but I haven't received a response from CNC4PC regarding the missing PDF instructions for replacing a potentiometer. The C41S manuals have various versions that don't match the current one pictured on the store site and within the manual is a bd link to the PDF in question so hopefully I get a reply from CNC4PC soon. I'll let you know how it goes.

I am trying to control spindle speed on the stock Sherline KBIC control using ESS and a CNC4PC C25XP breakout board.

I had tested the KBIC controller with a Gecko G540 and was able to control the motor speed, using the following information

www.soigeneris.com/Document/Gecko/Using_..._G540_VFD_Output.pdf

but I am totally lost at how to do this with ESS and the CNC4PC C25XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If this works I'll move on to spindle encoder feedback.
